Post 132 is fortunate that most of the original records of its formation and early history are still intact. As a sample, pictured is a page from the Minute Book. It reads as follows:
“Minutes Regular Meeting Apr. 3, 1922
The meeting was called to order by Comd. Cockroft at 8 o’clock. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Motion was made, seconded approved that the post buy 6 Grave Markers.
Motion was made, seconded approved that the post allow $5.00 for overseas memorial fund.
Motion was made seconded approved that the bill for lunch be allowed.
Motion was made, seconded & approved that Post Comd. see Mr. Melzer about the Grand Theatre for the benefit picture.
Cardigan for Rochester Memorial Hospital.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
