The New Ulm “Honor Roll” board was erected by Post 132 next to City Hall on First North Street.  Initially it contained the names of 738 service men and women.  By the end of world War II it contained the names if 1,142 service personnel currently on Active Duty, Wounded, Prisoners of War, Missing in Action, or Killed in Action.
