An unusual Armistice Day memorial service was held in 1952.  Members of all New Ulm veterans organizations massed in front of the American Legion clubrooms on Minnesota Street.  Post 132’s Adjutant, James Furth, read the list of New Ulm’s war veterans who had died beginning with World War 1.  The Legion’s Ralph Stewart was Officer-of-the Day for this morning service.
