STORY: To celebrate their 50th Anniversary in 1969 the Post and Auxiliary combined to create a poster designed to educate the public. It included the Preamble to the American Legion’s Constitution, a list of important events during their first 50 years, some highlights of activities (such as Aid to Veterans, Child Welfare, Girl’s State, Poppy Sales, Gold Star Mothers, and Veteran’s Hospital Programs), and an invitation to membership in the Post and Auxiliary.
