The Ed Horner family of Post 132 was one of the largest Legion families.  Pictured here in the May 1978 issue of The American Legion Magazine are Ed, seven of his sons, and Commander Bob Beussman (who became Mayor of New Ulm in 2011).  Ed’s wife and all 11 of their children were members of the Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion.
