On March 21, 1921, about two years after the founding of Post 132, the American Legion Auxiliary was chartered here. Of the original 11 founding women, three were members in 1995. Remarkable! They were Hedwig (Mrs. O. J.) Seifert age 98, Eleanor (Henle) Furth 97, and Myra (Seifert) Dempsey 89. They are pictured here receiving their 75-year Certificates of continuous service from Auxiliary President Lois Bode.
